Dennis just won MVP in field events tonight at the Patriots Games! He improved in Triple Jump by 2ft. His jump was 47.6ft. Dennis is now 4th in the State! So proud of you child. <3

It was so awesome to see Dennis and Morganne receive the MVP awards tonight. My sister Michelle and I believe the talent must come from our side of the family! hehehe :) Great job and congrats to the both of you! MUAH!

Bakersfield Liberty junior Dennis Hicks leaped a lifetime-best 47-6 in the triple jump to win the Patriot Games gold medal and earn male field athlete of the meet honors. Hicks' effort is the No. 4 wind-legal mark in the state this season.
